Nice meeting ya too! Yeah I was glad that I was able to run with y'all in the yellow group but too bad it rained on the last two sessions. I'm still trying to figure out my next track day... hopefully TWS next month.

of all the M cars i drove today, i liked the m2 the most. x5/x6m were fun to drag, but the shifting felt weird compared to the other cars.
m6 was my favorite of the big cars... very nice inside and very fast and stopped well. m4 was a littler underwhelming. it feels lighter and is pretty quick, but it pushes through corners a lot. m2 was my favorite car of the day. it wasn't bigger than it needed to be, good power and got the power down well. got into corners and stuck, very placable and felt like the lightest car there (because it was). my buddy went into a corner too hot and the car slid. the car communicated well, and felt very neutral. for a dd, it would be a blast.

Nice. Huge M2 fan, had a deposit on one before I got my e92 m3. Perhaps I need to make it to Thermal.

Don't get me wrong, I'm never getting rid of the v8. Drove a lot of turbos today. The attitude of the cars is completely different.

He only thing I didn't like about the M2 was there was no MDM mode. Just that comfort, sport, and sport plus toggle switch.
I like the two MDM buttons on other cars. I'd simply have one with the most aggressive settings and one with dsc completely off. Another thing that was a bummer was in the M4 instructor lead-follow, they divided us into two groups- three cars of two in one group for people with track experience. We legitimately got to explore the m4 at the limit. We all really appreciated that. Unfortunately, by the time we reached our 6 hot laps (with a few minutes for a driver swap after 3 laps) I noticed a engine temperature warning on the dash. My friend kept driving and then he got a steering temperature warning and the car started going into limp mode. I think this is why the instructors say they prefer to drive the cars in comfort steering mode at the track... because it goes into limp mode sooner in the firmer settings.

Also got to molest the m4 gts a little bit. It's a very nice car. I loved the seats, very comfortable.
They started it to revv it up a bit and you can hear me encouraging him to revv it "one more time" in this vid.

I have that keychain, and I like it. Only problem is that the colored stripes like to fall off, so I have to superglue them back on. I've reglued all of them once, and currently all of them are missing. Haven't had time to glue back on. CF on the back is pretty badass. |

Edit: I'm pretty sure this photo was taken right after I spun out (taking a few cones out with me), hence me looking down and smoke behind car. |
