re: Track pads & Wheels
Guys,
Thanks for the suggestions on pads and wheels/setup. Where would you recommend I go to purchase the pads and wheels/tires? Thanks |

Tires: Tires23 in Mississauga - they give really good pricing and service Wheels: Depends what you want. I normally go with Speedstar (if I want Japanese made wheels), otherwise, V-Road in Chicago. Also check the Canadian for sale threads, there are some good wheels for sale there right now. |

Do I have to pay duty or sales tax? I recall that shipping via US postal service doesnt involve brokers? |

Wheels are a 0% duty part, so you should just end up paying HST on the price you paid for the wheels. USPS does its own brokering, but it has a set fee, so they don't charge the crazy rates UPS does. I would recommend having the wheels shipped to Buffalo, and then you bring them over. Odds are shipping fees will be a lot less that way.

USPS will charge you a fee for brokering, but a fraction of what UPS, Fedex charge. You should only have to pay HST |

I did not see anything real bad at the Bus stop.I brake between the 1st RH turtle and the 2nd turtle which is on the LH to help to get the car turning to the left to be on the correct line to exit to C5.I bleed the speed down from the turn in point right to the 2nd turtle.I used to enter the bus stop in 3rd gear but now I use 4th with much less braking before the intial turn in.I am pretty sure that last year the 1st turtle was much higher so I never tried to do it this way which is a fair bit faster.

Here is the full length video of me at WGI. I merged the front facing camera with the rear facing one in a nice split-screen arrangement. Quite interesting to see what is going on behind the car as well as the front...
