The best $10 I spent in a long time.

After switch back and forth between my OEM and aftermarket wheels 3x in a matter of two weeks, I was looking for something to make it a little easier to get this done. Trying to hold the wheels up and line up the holes with the holes on the hub was a daunting task especially in the front where the hubs don't lock with the handbrake. So I decided to get a wheel hangar pin from RAD and it makes it so much easier. You just screw it into one of the holes in the hub and then you slide you wheel over it and it lines up all the holes for you. I'm not sure why the car doesn't come with one of these from the factory because my Audi S4 did (although it was plastic it still got the job done). At only $10, its a no brainer.

the RSD one's are actually 14mm that they shaved the threads down to 12mm and they don't my RAC wheels.

so that you can grip it more easily, even with gloves on. i use mechanix gloves when i change wheels so i dont get my hands dirty.

guys there is a MUCH cheaper solution.
go to Turner motorsport or Vorshlag and buy ONE stud. Its like $4 and does the EXACT same thing, this one just doesn't have a thread on it.

Bought one on ebay

I looked at the website & saw the shipping charge was more than the price of the part so I checked on eBay--found what looked like the identical thing (Wheel Hanger 12mmx1.5) with $2.99 shipping so I ordered it from a site in California. Hopefully it will be here next week when I plan to put my AluFelgen CS-7/Blizzak LM-60 winter wheel/tires on--it's transitioning into winter much faster than I'd like here in Pennsylvania . I really struggled putting the wheels on without that part when I tried them on my 2011 IB CSL coupe this summer--very tough to get the wheel to hang on the by thin lip of the hub. This part sounds like the perfect solution.

Where you driving? I'm in the central part of the island but quite a bit of the M3 guys live in town. I know of at least one on the west side.

I saw one though couple days ago exited to Likelike Hwy, I didn't wanna call 'em out because I know how it handles lol....
