winter tires question for oem 19" wheels. Rears are ok but what about fronts???
Hi there,
I have a 2nd set of 19" Oem wheels that I am planning to run with winter tires... I found a good deal of "Blizzak LM-25 265/35R19" tires for my rear wheels on a website. What I can get for the fronts??? Can I install 265/35R19 to all wheels? What is the cons/pons if I do that? Thanks.. PS. first i posted that into Winter Tires section sponsored by tire rack but since sunday couldnt get any reply. that's why i posted it here again.. |

Blizzak LM25s come in 255/35/19, you can get them on tire rack. I am currently running 255/35/19 and 265/35/19 on OEM 19s for the past two harsh east coast winter and there has been absolutely no problems.

LM-25s have been discontinued and replaced with the LM-60, so you might get a great price but the rubber might be much older than other stocked tires. An old, hard snow tire is not the same so you might want to think twice about the savings.

265/35/19 would be way too tall for the fronts (originals are 245/35/19). if you want to use 265, it should be 265/30/19... but it doesnt matter, i think 265 are going to be too wide for the oem 19 wheels. you should be ok doing 255/35/19
