OE TPMS Air Pressure & Temp data

Is there any way (or 'has' anyone been able to) get air pressure & temperature readings using the OE TPMS Sensors??

it seems for the same money (as the OE TPMS Sensors) you can buy an aftermarket TPMS system that will display temperatures AND air pressures on a small 4" screen.

And other car manuf. (Audi) allows you to monitor the air pressure on the Nav screen.

Like this one: http://www.orange-electronic.com/eng...1_01p409s.html

Shows you live 4 wheels at the same time (temp or pressure)

Its like $150 = wtf?? -- thats waaay better then the OE system.

It's hard to believe that even with idrive, that tire information isn't available to us.

Indeed. Even lowly Corvettes show pressure on all 4 tires. And we have freaking iDrive . Well, at least the POS tells you which tire is low .

With the iDrive so uniquely designed. I can't believe it doesn't show Tire Pressure on the Nav Monitors. It's actually kind of sad if you think about it.

And, if I recall, that was since 1997. I had 4 different Corvettes that displayed tire pressure at all wheels.

Pretty good for such a lowly car.
