Your not alone. On my 2010 the warning light and chime has come on repeatedly, intermittently without any clear cause. It is very erratic and can come on every few minutes to hours apart. The lights stay one, the connections are tight, and the lights and parts look pristine. Is there any 2010s that are without this problem? I emailed NAM yesterday.

Unfortunately no. LED's have a much more specific color grouping, and none of the high power LED's are offered at a 12,000k color. Most LED's are offered right around the 5,000k range, so finding them cooler then that is often tough.

Question for Everyone that has a 2010 M3

With the OEM bulbs in there, do the angel eyes dim when you put on the xenon headlights?

With the e92's, and the e90 LCI models, the halo's are only full brightness when the angel eyes are switched on. once the xenon's go on, the halos dim

Can someone let me know if this is still true with the 2010 M3's? Thanks

Seems like the guys with problems all have 2010 models. Anybody with earlier models having problems?

Has the issues with 2010 M3's been resolved? I would love to purchase these, but not if I'm going to get a warning light and chimes intermittently.

I have an 09 and no problems at all. But installation could use a firmer positive lock. Overall, I am very happy with them.

From the E92 LCI spy shots, it looks BMW switched to an LED bulb for the H8 angels. But the LCI cars won't appear until MY11 in March 2010 or so. Could BMW have started using LED H8 bulbs in the MY10 E92?

just installed the lights. After scraping my hands up...I must say I was pleased with the way they look and the ease of PNP.

i'm also interested in any updates re 2010 models. i think i would order these right now if i could get reassurance they wouldn't cause the warning light/chime.

Marc - My halos don't dim. They stay at the same full brightness regardless if the headlights are on or off.

Bimmiam sells LUX H8's? I thought they were exclusive from namotorsports.

You're right. The LUX is exclusively from NA Motorsports.

Any word on the 2010's and these? I still would like to buy but still don't know if they are having problems with the 2010.
