Back to my E92

Well I recently sold my ultra low mileage (5500 miles that is) 2008 E92 M3 and was kind of upset. I kept looking for a 4 door replacement but having nothing come up that satisfied my needs (manual, fast, low miles um isn't that enough?) I found myself back buying an e92. I thought about an F10 M5 or F80 M3 but they just didn't do it for me. The F80 arguably looks a lot better but I can't get past the artificial controls and fake exhaust.

Anyway, found a gem. 14k mile 2012 E92 6 speed comp pack car. Absolutely immaculate. So, I am back and will be enjoying the V8 once again!

Very nice! This looks like the one that was for sale in the Seattle area? I saw one on Craigslist that I believe is this same car you bought.

Car was in Washington state but I don't know it's proximity to Seattle. Can't be too many like this there! I am actually taking delivery next week so I am excited. It's a pity they made so few E90's and there are so few with low miles. But, I cannot complain!

I know the feeling. I sold my brand new 2013 m3 with 20K miles like an idiot since I thought it was overkill for what I needed but then ended up buying back a 2009 e92 m3. Never again.

I used to look forward to new cars because they were usually better in some way. I got my driver's license in 1987 so I remember every car coming out at that point and for a long time was lustworthy. Now, everything is meh with a few exceptions. In the sedan world there is nothing if you want a manual and each model while faster is just too overkill with tech and crap that breaks. Nowadays, I look backwards at the cars I want.

I agree. I don't even look at new BMW's with any intent to purchase them brand new.

I bought my 6MT E90 last year with 60k miles. Not mint, but really nice and well cared for considering its age. I almost passed on it because it was the very first car I test drove, but now I'm glad I grabbed it as manual E90s seem to be getting tougher and tougher to find.

Should've got a 4-door E90

Jk, looks super clean and the mileage is crazy!
