Been lurking the forums for a while. Currently own an E93 335i N54. Finally picked up my M3 in June. Bone stock other than painted reflectors. Previously owned by a lawyer that drove it stock and maintained it at the dealer because everything was a tax write off.

Got it at 114km
During the wait for more mods, decided to tackle some paint work. Wet sanded the front bumper a tad as it had lots of rock chips from daily driving. Ended up buying Chipfixx to help with the ones that went right through the paint. Perfect match and easy to use. Debated on a respray but I’ll save that money for other maintenance atm. Sanded with 1000, 2000, then buffed with Meguiars 105 then 205 to finish. Just my dog taking the M for a rip
20190821_131247 by Steven Luong, on Flickr Finally got my KW HAS. Install wasn’t made. Did it with a neighbour in the garage. Really wanted KW V3 but couldn’t quite justify the price for street use. Had BC on my E93 it was was great for the streets. Wanted to save that extra $$ for maintenance (RB and TA). I also didn’t want reg springs because I was worried about not being able to adjust reverse rake if it were to occur. 20190925_185742 by Steven Luong, on Flickr Before: 20190718_195604 by Steven Luong, on Flickr 2020-02-04_03-38-27 by Steven Luong, on Flickr IMG_3976 by Steven Luong, on Flickr Before Drop by Steven Luong, on Flickr After: Alignment wasn’t too bad but got it done a couple days after just to be sure. Grabbed the Hyper Blue TE37SL from the E93 and threw them on the M3. swapped the tires from the OEM wheels for the time being. 245/265 4S. Speaking of the exhaust, I already got a Remus race with the connecting pipes.

Collected this front lip from Pom Performance over the winter. Finally got some time to install it.

Foggy weather to start. Probably will be shooting a lot more as its still okay during this quarantine business as I’ll usually just be by myself in the middle of nowhere. garage queen for the day by Steven Luong, on Flickr DSC_9162-Edit by Steven Luong, on Flickr close up of front end by Steven Luong, on Flickr DSC_9163-Edit by Steven Luong, on Flickr Fog looked too cool not to pull over by Steven Luong, on Flickr E90M3 in the fog by Steven Luong, on Flickr Gloomy day by Steven Luong, on Flickr from the back by Steven Luong, on Flickr creep by Steven Luong, on Flickr from the front by Steven Luong, on Flickr oh so foggy by Steven Luong, on Flickr The lip was installed without removing the bumper. Drove it for only a day and realized it was quite loose with the oem screws. Done the proper way now. Bumper off and multiple drill points for nuts and bolts. Much tighter fit and feeling like its much more secured. 3M extreme mounting tape didn’t do much of a job as I wanted because there was too much gap in some areas that didn’t allow it to touch. Removing the bumper for install was definitely the way to go. 20200329_194627 by Steven Luong, on Flickr

Well quarantine gave me lots of time to do OCD things. I work at the hospital so I’m not off work but during my days off I still got lots of time to kill. With the TE37SL, there’s no center cap option, nor do I care to buy the necessary accessories to make an adaptor kit work for the center cap. So that leaves the hub exposed and generally exposing rust. Took my time with the wire brush and got as much of it off as I could then I started hand sanding the rest until it looked pretty rust free. With a 50/50 alcohol and water spray, I cleaned it up and added a few coats of black paint. Looks so much better.

Barrels took some work as there was lots of tar and heavy dirt from last season. Once clean I used Meguiars Hybrid ceramic spray to finish them off. Scrubbed the tires with APC then applied a coat of VRP. before: 20200322_203420 by Steven Luong, on Flickr after: 20200322_205852 by Steven Luong, on Flickr Cleaned up the wheels and tires by Steven Luong, on Flickr and tackled the fender liners. Looks great man! And just noticed the serial etchings on your car, is it a Montreal car? I hate how they do that haha

2021 Update
Dinmann Rear diffuser came in. Quality looks amazing although fitment is like 90%. Removed the rear bumper to get a proper install and the driver side just never was able to sit right. With the bumper off, in order to fit right, the bumper was flex a tad but then when I went to throw it onto the car, the bumper had to flex back out to align with the tabs and made the diffuser fitment worse again. Im going to look into nut inserts/rivets to get a certain section right. I also have the option to get rear bumper side extensions to finish up the rear. I think that would hide some of the gap as well and carry the lines of the car better.
Rod bearings done a week before the track. Took the car for a 4.5 hour road trip to Toronto to the best shop locally known for RB/motor mounts and upgraded brake fluid flush. I also had Rocco do a once over to make sure it was safe to track (tires, brakes, suspension components). This will be my first time ever bringing my own car to the track. I got lucky with a friend and was able to jump in a private rental for free to just lap the car and gain some seat time without the pressures of coaches and yielding to faster race cars on the track. Let’s just say it was amazing and I got hooked. I drove the car with confidence in the sense that I knew I did some good preventative maintenance and the car would be reliable to take some abuse. Drove with traction control on the whole day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrKr91cF8ag
