Howdy!
New M3 owner here, just picked up a 2011 Frozen Grey. I've had it for a week and it brings a smile to my face everyday. I came upon the forums when looking for cleaning/maintenance tips for the frozen paint and this place really helped out. So far, the maintenance hasn't been bad at all- gave it a wash and sealant (Dr. Beasleys) this past weekend after we had some dirty rain come through. Its got some small imperfections from the previous ownership that I'll try to fix, but beyond that, its quite clean. I'm from Dallas and the dealership I go to is Classic BMW in Plano. So far so good, except the reset my iDrive when they programmed a replacement key for me, punks. Just wanted to pop in and say hi, shoot me thumbs up if you see me on the road! |

Did you get it at Texas Imports? If so, I test drove that car on Jan. 2. I'm a new E92 owner as well. I ended up flying to Nebraska the next day to get a 2011 Lemans Blue M3(previous owner was from around Dallas according to carfax). I was really lucky as the previous owner had the bumper, hood, fenders, and sideview mirrors covered with a clear bra.

good performance/service shop in Dallas?
I will be moving to Dallas in the next few months. Was wondering if any of y'all had a good shop to recommend to service my car once the warranty is up. I have a few mods such as BBK, pulley, BPM chip, etc.
thanks |

I've haven't been yet, but I hear autoscope is a good place for non-dealership work in Dallas.

Anybody know what happened to the user "blake" that started this thread? I was looking at Jerez Black photos on google images, and I'm like wow, that looks like my car, then I see the thread and it IS my car! He was the original owner 2 owners ago and I'd love to message him, but it looks like he is banned???

Is anyone in the DFW area running Swift springs preferably with EDC? I'd like to check out the stance and ride in person before making a change.

Anybody know what happened to the user "Blake"? He had a Jerez Black M3, and then a GTR. Long story short, I have his car now, but it says he has been banned and I've been trying to get in contact with him. The middle owners were a few asian foreign exchange students, who didn't have much regard for the car.
