Tire size for BBS wheels, Help...
Hey Guys,
I recently purchased a set of BBS LM-R wheels. Here are the specs: Front: 19x9.5 25mm Rear: 19x10 20mm Suspension setup: Swift Spec R springs (Down 1 in front, .75 in back) Tire size: I am completely dumbfounded here, so any help would be appreciated. The wheel setup is the same that Leh Keen ran on his M3 a couple years back. Unfortunately he never posted his tire size. I am thinking: 255/35/19 275/30/19 or 285/30/19 I am not someone who cares to say "Yeah i am running a 305 out back", there is no point for me to run anything beyond 285... my main concern is adequate sidewall size for rim protection and I dont want to rub. I am pretty confident with the 255/35 up front, however would love for someone to confirm this is a good size, I think a 245 would appear a little stretched? Out back I am unsure if it should be 275/30 or 275/35 as with these aspects neither of them are very near the front sidewall height. The 285/30 is a little close in terms of being the proper height, correct? Any help that anyone could add would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
