FS: 2013 M3 6MT 26k miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Selling my 26k miles M3 in Mineral White / Beige Novillo Extended leather / Carbon Leather trim.

Pro:
1. Fully loaded last year model. It has cold weather package (heated front seat, headlight washer), premium package (comfort access, rear parking distance control, backup camera, navigation, bluetooth audio), dynamic damper control, 19" double-spoke wheels, automatic high beams, premium sound. NO moonroof. The original MSRP is $73,995.
2. No scratch or dent. See photos for proof. It is partly protected by the clear bra (front part of the hood, fender, side skirts, front part of the roof).
3. Interior is clean. See photos.
4. Clean carfax. See Google Drive.
5. No rust. See photos.
6. A PPI in June 2020 from Palo Alto Bimmer shows no mechanical issue. I don't have a written report since it was done by a buyer.

Con:
1. Too many previous owners. I'm the 7th owner and I bought the car from the 6th owner in Feb 2020, who bought the car from CarMax in Sept 2019. Please note that the carfax report was generated before I bought the car so my ownership is not on it.
2. The car is equipped with a short shifter kit, which changes (I would say "improves" but YMMV) the feeling of shifting a lot. However, it makes some noice when the rev is over 5k due to the removal of some bushings. There's a video about the shifting in Google Drive. I don't have the original shifter.
3. The car is equipped with a lightweight flywheel, which makes the rev drop much quicker. As a result, it requires significant skills to drive it well. I don't have the original flywheel. There's nothing wrong with this flywheel, it just makes the car not that suitable for daily driving. My personal feeling is, if I upshift above 4k rpm, then it'll be perfect timing. If I have to upshift at a lower rpm, I need to hold the throttle for half more second.

Other:
1. The car is equipped with the eibach springs. Since I have never driven an E9X M3 on stock suspension, I can't say how it compares with the stock one. However, my feeling is that riding in this car is much more comfortable than in an F80.
2. Recent services include 4 new tires in 2019, oil change @ 22k (by CarMax), new battery @ 24k, new transmission oil @ 24k (by me).
3. I don't know about the rod bearings and throttle actuators. But I guess they are not replaced. Lang Racing Development (they are S65 professional) recommends me to replace the rod bearings at 60k.

Why I'm selling the car:
1. Short answer: I don't like the lightweight flywheel. I also believe that, a lot of the previous owners put little milage and sold the car because of the hard-to-drive flywheel.
2. Long answer: The flywheel could be fixed by $520 + ~7 hours labor. However, I was originally buying this car as a daily driver. While the COVID-19 forces me to work from home, I don't need to commute at all so this car is seldom driven.

Car is located in Santa Clara, CA.

I have no idea. The right height looks similar to a ZCP one but it does not have ZCP. Maybe one of the previous owners lowered the car.

A lot of people are frightened by the number of owners, which I didn't consider when I bought the car.

I'll probably start to replace the flywheel if it doesn't sell in the next few weeks.
