E92 M3 OEM Brake Set

I wanted to install the front callipers of my E92 M3 to my rear. There is someone selling the full set for cheap. Just wondering if this will work as the set includes everything . Anything in particular I should be looking out for ?

Thanks for your help !

Hi,
Unless you fabricate some very accurate and strong adaptor brackets, you will not be able to fit the front calipers to the rear. It may not even be possible at all. Depends where the lugs are located on the calipers. I haven't tried to fit front calipers at the rear. It would also upset your braking balance, since the piston area is different.

What Perth said, x2.

Why do you want to do this anyway? Rear setup is objectively fine and it’s not like the front calipers are pretty (also heavier).

It’ll throw off the brake balance and your ABS will go nuts. You’ll need to somehow change the brake bias. At that point you’re better off getting big brake kit.

IMO the E92 could use a bit more rear braking but this is a bad idea. You'd have to get brackets, rotors, and adjustable valves to adjust line pressure to the rear and I don't think the systems would play nicely with all of this.

I do have my front calipers if you'd like to buy them for $200 though lol.

Get a big brake kit (BBK) if you want something beefier looking in the rear.

StopTech stuff is available for the front and rear, in a variety of colors (red, black, yellow, silver) and two different rotor designs (slotted or drilled). Won't break the bank, either. I see used sets pop up periodically as well.

Otherwise you can be a baller and get something like AP Racing. :-)
