Washer Fluid Leak
Parked my car in the driveway last night, shop i picked it up from added some washer fluid, IDrive use to say washer fluid was low. Woke up to a puddle on the front passenger wheel behind the tire. As I’ve reas on forums looks like it’s the tank leaking, maybe a crack or something. Warning for low fluid is back on. I don’t use the washer fluid either way way as it doesn’t see rain or really anything. No point in fixing it I assume if I don’t use it? Or will a simple seal paste fix the issue, thanks!

its likely the pump seal. you can access it by taking off the tire and rear fender liner. you do not have to take off the fender. easy fix. get in there and see what exactly it is.

Photo reference: I’ll take a look at it maybe tomorrow, but regardless the liquid is not greasy/oily and is blue. I don’t use the washers so I really don’t care 😹 I’ll see how big the leak is and if I decide to fix it I’ll let you guys know, thanks for the responses

buy a new pump and grommet then send it, its too early in the year for us to assume the tank is cracked, usually only happens when some idiot fills it way too diluted.

Sounds familiar.
Mine was a simple fix. Original pump loses its ability to seal, so BMW redesigned the pump. Attached is the new pump part number.
