Will X-Pipe Increase Volume at Low RPM?

Picked up an Active Auto Signature Rear Section. Happy with the tone, but a bit too quiet 0 to 3k RPM. I'm looking to add 20% more volume.

Will adding their X Pipe add more volume? Or is the X Pipe more for higher RPM to get more sound volume?

My car already sounds great at higher RPM. Looking to increase volume inside the cabin at cruising speeds.

Thanks.

Review the stickies before you go for an xpipe.

ANY xpipe will increase raw sound over stock and even more so if you go catless or HFC's.

Quite a few people find that an x-pipe significantly increases loudness; specifically drone if not paired properly.

add some 200 cell magna flow cats to the secondary position. get resonators paired in as well if your x pipe doesnt come with it

no affect on power, less smell, keeps volume/drone/rasp in check

Thanks all for the feedback.

I have an Active Autowerks rear section. So considering the X Pipe options from them. There are 2 on their site

1. X Pipe & High Flow Cats $1799
2. X Pipe w/ straight pipes - race $1199

Of course I want the cheaper one however it will probably be too loud. So I'm assuming I would go with option #1

But back to my original question - my objective is more sound at lower & slower speed driving. I actually WANT to hear my exhaust at slow speeds inside the car. So I'm assuming #1 X Pipe w HFC will create 20% to 25% more noise over the rear section only?

The volume and character of my Corsa rear changed drastically when I added a custom x-pipe. (Catless, quad resonated, forward X)

More low rpm resonance, more high rpm volume, zero rasp (my goal), and now my CF plenum sings.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, I think this is what your looking for.

Which x pipe did you go with?

Well, I have an AA HFC X Pipe coming next week. I'll report back on the changes
