Somebody stole my front bumper tow plug...$90?

you know the little round plug on the front of the bumper? walked by my car today and mine was missing. stopped by the dealer, its about $90 to have one ordered and painted

it was there when i left work. then missing when i got home. sucks i have to pay for this.

anybody know where to get one cheaper? or just suck it up and pay the dealer.

would rather buy my kid a new toy than pay $90 for a $2 piece of plastic, know what i mean? Plus this is there to convenience bmw when shipping the car doesnt benefit me at all.

i wouldnt pay for it from the dealer.. im sure you can find one cheaper .. maybe a forum member wants to sell theirs.

i have an AW one i am not using i could sell i guess, but its AW.

Buy the part for under $9 from your parts dept., take it to a body shop, and have it painted. It can't be $90.

I got a gts3 bumper on the way I can't remeber if it needs that or has one but if I don't need it I'll give it to u

Ya, find a shop that does a lot of BMWs and they can hold it until they need to paint some other parts that same color, that way it will be a LOT cheaper than doing a full setup just for you.

If the unpainted part is inexpensive enough, buy two and paint one of them black with duplicolor and use it until the body shop can do the correct color.

Just find another M3 in the same color...you have the part instantly for free. Of course that guy will then need to find one. Sort of like Musical Chairs...last guy loses.

this has been discussed before. another guy thought his got stolen too. most likely it fell off while driving. they really do come off easily. highly unlikely anyone would steal it.
