I installed my driver side last night using the dreaded MS mounts, MS 3 point hardware and recaro sliders. It all fits and of course sits off center especially with the factory seatbelt receptacle and tensioner mounted to the side of it.
My issue is the lap belt comes over the seat back adjuster. Not a big deal but it's just not right. Has anyone else experienced this before? It almost needs a guide or a different mounting location then the lower bar on the e92. It's not like you can adjust the seat with the door closed anyway cuz you can't get your hand down there, but I'd like it to route differently. Eventually it'll go more race car and get harnesses but would like to utilize what I've got for now. Any help welcomed, Pic is just an idea of how close the seat sits to the door! It sits super low too, I can barely reach the cup holder.. Thanks

Not with the seat belt tensioner in the way...
This is the passenger side, its over as far as it'll go, the seating position doesn't bother me. It's the way the lap belt has to go under the seat adjuster as pictured, it needs a guide just to keep it off the seat.. you can see the gap passenger side next to the door, I feel a lot more snugged up to it.
