Where are people seeing these prices? I got a quote from radar-mirror for $1400 for a BelTronics STIR+, the best hardwire radar available. With the discount on the radar, the mirror incorporation was only $200-400 depending if you bought from the manufacturer or eBay.
It's going in next week. Question now is whether I want to add LI laser shifters despite their illegal status in Texas. RE:OP That solution is far superior in aesthetics to the suction cup (which is too tacky to even contemplate), but looks like it's too much in the way of your vision and blatantly obvious to any LEO or potential thief. |

Not to high jack the thread but I've written with countryjoycrafts about their mount and using it for the GoPro. This would be great with no suction mount! Track inspections would be less painful, no more hiding the camera and then quickly putting it on. Send them an email and ask about the GoPro mount for the mirror.
