We recently introduced our new Gintani Stage 1 Supercharger Kit at Bimmerfest. This is an entry level kit which we are incredibly excited to release! After Bimmerfest 2014, we noticed a large interest and positive response from enthusiasts so we have decided to offer an introductory special!

E9X M3 Stage 1 *New Introductory Kit*
Stage 1: 5 psi (Approximately 550 HP/380 TQ)

Kit Includes:
•Vortech V3 Si Trim supercharger
•Black Hard Anodized CnC Supercharger Bracket
•Supercharger discharge pipe (powder coated) with blow off valve
•Intake manifold (Available in custom colors)
•Eight High Flow Fuel Injectors
•Spark Plugs
•Eight Rib CnC machined crank pulley (Hard andonized)

*After a company meeting, we have decided to name the introductory kit Stage 1. Our Stage 2 Kit will only be offered at 7.5 psi, but if a customer would like to run only 6.5 psi - it will still be available.

Any thoughts on pushing that air filter a little back to get rid of the nasty kink in the intake? And is this kit easily upgradable? Will i need to replace the entire manifold similar to the ESS kits or can i slide in the heat exchanger into the existing manifold similar to the VF kits? I'm very interested.

Sweet, But stage 0? that dont sound cool. really like the charger filter not b n down there in the rain and dirt.

We have tested the intake pipe plenty of times all the way up to 22 psi with the filter on and off. There was no difference. We know the pipe looks to have a kink, but there is a big open space inside. I'll try to take a picture when I have a chance in the office tomorrow.

Yes, you can upgrade this kit to any of our higher level kits. We will have an exchange program where we exchange your Stage 0 manifold for our intercool'ed manifold. We cannot slide in an air-to-liquid cooler into the manifold as it is welded.

I totally trust the engineering from Gintani. But it looks like theres room for a slightly bigger radius curve. Either way i will be buying this. When will these be available for shipment? How long is the special for? Any before/after dyno charts?

The filter is located in front of the vent so rain cannot get to it. We are taking orders now and will be ready in 2-3 weeks for us to ship out.

Once I can get everything rolling here at Gintani, we will begin stocking our SC kits so that orders will be ready to ship the next day over. Gintani is making a lot of changes internally to become more efficient and cater to our customers quicker and better!

I will shoot you a PM when I am in the office later today. I personally drove this car for a good 45 minutes and was absolutely stunned how well it performs! I was in bumper-to-bumper traffic on Sunset Blvd, an open stretch of freeway on the 405, and regular traffic near our shop so I was able to test drive the car in all the different situations our customers will experience. Car drove like a stock car, but with so much more power! It was a phenomenal car and almost made me think I should sell my E46 M3 for an E90 M3.

We are taking orders now and will be ready to ship out in 2-3 weeks, MAX. The special will be available until the end of summer. I am very excited that my bosses have allowed me to offer the M3post community such amazing pricing! I am going to post a before/after dyno from our Dyno Dynamics today when I step into the office. The Stage 0 makes +90-95 whp / +60-65 wtq.

Any testing in warm humid temps (Atlanta) without the cooler? I would love to slap one of these on my car but I'm concerned about that.

I want one but I too worry about living in a place that is consistently 90 degress or better w/ 90% humiditiy.


From the looks of it it looks like you can re-route the charge piping and I could actually mount a FMIC with this..... Hmmmmmmm

May as well just buy the bigger cooled kit then right? I'm sure they would sell you the bigger kit w/ a lower boost pulley.

I don't care for liquid to air intercoolers. I like simplifying things. This kit should work well as is, but it would be nice to custom fab an intercooler for later if wanted.

May need to change the crank pulley to adjust for the loss running through an intercooler though. We'll see. Fuggin priorities man...Always killing the fun I want to have

Out of curiosity where do you reside with those temps and humidity? Looks rather close to my forecast. I know ESS tested their non-cooled kits in AZ without issue but I never felt warm and fuzzy about that replicating the humidity factor.

Yeah AZ is dry heat, I live in FL... It's humid every day. Heavy damp air.

Wow! Very aggressive pricing. This makes my decision for the ESS 550 kit a lot harder as this is over 1k less. Do you offer installation for locals?
