Hey Luke,

Which dealer did you go through? So is the vert going to be a demo model or is it already sold??
Might have to go for a test drive!
Man you guys are lucky i was absolutely gutted when they said mine was delayed, mind you my business partner ordered a Jerez black and his is still on schedule.
Must be the famous AW flooding the market around the world..

Stillwell's in South Yarra. I don't know any details of the car other than what he told me earlier. I'm hoping that it could not be sold if he's letting me drive it. When I take it for a spin I'll let you guys know & take a couple of snap shots & post them here.

I've ordered AW

Thanks for the info - they did mention that one was on it's way to me as well but only a general "some time in the next few weeks". Let me know when you're going down and we can hook up down there if you want.

I've ordered AW with Ext FR and carbon trim.

Was around town yesterday and BMW on Kings Way has 5 M3's in there now. First time I've actually seen the 18's up close, they actually look pretty good compared to photos seen on here.

Mine is black leather with Titanuim Shadow trim. I went 19's but not extended leather. My carbon roof should look great on AW with the darkest legal tint!!

Yeah they can't seem to move those 6 speeds.. I drive along Kings Way almost every day & see them. I would have just run out & bought one of those if my wife could drive a manual.. The DCT will be worth the wait & hold its value better I think..

yep ordered mine with 19's CF roof and will be tinting my windows too.
Oh and I emailed germany about August production and they only shut down for 12 days(4th - 16th) so I guess I am now looking hopefully at October delivery. Not happy but oh well.

Hey Guys

Looks like my newest addition to the family is on final approach – either tomorrow or Monday delivery. I think the last 24-96 hours will take loner than the whole previous 12+ months

Will post some pics when I have it home safely and properly washed, clayed, polished and sealed.

Guys

Here she is in all her glory – some crap pictures that I took before work today as a stop gap however they tell the story. Will be spending this weekend getting a good coat of Zaino on her before much more road work – she will look at lot better after a few coats of Z5 and Z2.

Initial very limited impression…what a vehicle and not just the engine and DCT – the whole package is magnificent in all respects – will post more impressions when I have had a good run in it however work pressures means its mainly garaged for a few more days – better to enjoy it when the pressure is off I think. DCT is … well…. weird and takes a bit of getting used to but not in a bad way. I drove it home from the dealer like a granny – talk about paranoia but that will disappear soon I’m sure.

Funny thing but I ordered it with Fox Red non-extended leather but believe it or not it has arrived with extended leather even though the order clearly says non-extended – strange to say the least but a welcome bonus. Somewhere at the factory the stocktake wont be adding up !

Will post some impressions of the DCT etc once we’ve had a bonding run.

Regards to all

sweet, keep us posted.
I see Doncaster has a MR on the lot, wish they had got it earlier i might have gone for that colour instead of AW. Was too much of a risk to order without seeing it in person.
