Did the Venoxy gauge faces w/ 8600 rpm tach. Wanted that classic E46 M3 look.

I messed up the alignment on the speedo ever so slightly so I have some edge bleed at night, hard to capture it in photos.

Hate myself for that. Might have to buy another face and re-do it although I don’t really drive this thing at night.

Not much done today. She's been hooked up to the battery tender for a few months now. Did a little dust off and put air in the tires.

Today I started the front windshield rubber trim replacement and started removing & cleaning the wheels / tires. Wheels naturally were over-torqued by whoever put new tires on for the previous owner, so I had to give me and my breaker bar a good workout. Wheels had also seized onto the steed hub centers somewhat so had needed some good wacks to get them off! Re-installed w/ a bit of anti-seize. Properly torqued now!

I did mine a few weeks ago. I hard wired the blackvue battery to a ACC fuse. The car charges the battery and the battery gives power to the camera. That way when you turn the car off the camera is still on recording until the battery dies ( about 24hrs). I took it to another level and added a power bank. Now it will record for about 3 days. Overkill, but it may come in handy one day.

I love it, a M3 in Brasil. How hard is it to get parts and do the maintenance?
Hi, you from Brazil?

Ah, the parts are tough to get, you always need to wait like 20~40 days, make maneuvers to avoid/reduce taxes, that's stressing.

Our best supplier is ECS in the US . Sometimes the dealership here turns out a good option.

And the maintenance, I do it all at home, prefered to spend the service money on tools so I never need to spend again. But you can find some guys by the community who does a good job for money as they do it themselves (not workshop managers) and are M lovers.

The community of this car is awesome.

Installed a new thermostat and temp sensor. Also did a few throttle blips with the ITB's exposed. Sounded evil.

The car is warming up much quicker now and maintains operating temps on the road even when it's cold as shit out.

Will have the plenum off again soon for the starter replacement.

Nice, that is one rewarding job! Mine still rarely hits 100C but still resulted in a nice time reduction to reach ok temp.

Couldn't do it! I was going to buy an F80 but every-time I drive the e90 it reels me back in.

I'll probably hold on to the car for the long run.

For the 23-25k it's worth at this mileage I'll just keep it until I no longer drive it (if that day ever comes.)
