Didn't have much info but the fitment is stated to be not for E93s. Really liked the look of this model but no luck for me..

Here's an example of a product that is advertised as e92/e93 compatible. I would think IND wouldn't have a problem fitting these lights on either car.

https://ind-distribution.com/products/bmw-oem-e92-e93-m3-3-series-lci-led-tail-light-set

From my viewpoint, the e92/E93 taillight is identical across all M and non-M cars.

Thanks and I suspected the same with the interchangeable fitting between e92 & e93. I also started to search for reviews on e93 install. Hopefully, there is more info on the fitment and post-install reviews.

Just heard back from BayOptiks and was told, although they may look the same, the fitment is different so what's available currently won't fit in E93 M3. However, they are working to bring an option for E93s, hopefully soon.

Since I really like the look of this model, I'll wait a bit. With many parts on hold/delay, it won't hurt to wait for a few more months.

Are you able to code to keep the shift light option "on" without me having to turn it on every time I start the car? Mine being pre-LCI model, this is a manual process unless I program my M-button as a shortcut.

Thanks.

Took advantage of the 70 degree weather and tried out some Superwrap on the window trim. Not exactly a German quality finish, but proves that I prefer the blacked out trim and need to have it wrapped by a professional. Cheers fellas.

Who did you have do the work and would you recommend them? Or did you DIY?

DIY using 3M matte black tape. First few sections have some imperfections as it was first time trying this. Subsequent sections came out pretty good.

I also vinyl wrap my hood in glossy carbon fiber which came out pretty good given it was first time doing it myself. There is a small section that is wrinkled from pulling too much. I'm going to see if I can fix it a bit later. I also plan to wrap my mirrors and couple of other sections using the leftover wrap. If you're interested in doing the mirrors, I'd be happy to wrap them at my place.

BTW, I'm looking into wrapping the entire car in metallic matte black (aka Ghost) once the weather gets a bit warmer.

I'll post some pics of the hood and mirrors once I get done wrapping the mirrors.

Here're some pics of the hood. Gonna do the mirrors later tonight so pics will come tomorrow. The wrap wasn't the best quality and the squeeze I got from amazon was cheap one so there are alot of hairline scratches if you look closer. Hopefully it won't be too noticeable in the sun. If I get more practice, I'd be happy to wrap you guys cars. Just buy the material and I'll do for free. More practice for me hahaha.

Here're the pics of mirrors. First one took about 50 min and 2nd one about 35 min. Not perfect job but a few imperfections in undeside and are not visible unless you really look under the mirrors. I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Going to try wrapping some other parts before I commit to ordering more vinyl wraps for the whole car.

So I think we have found our next house and it's going to suck up all my time and plenty of money over the next ~year…I'm thinking I might let go of the M3 since I won't have much time to enjoy it and prices are high. Know anyone locally who might be interested?

2008 with 45k miles
Manual trans
Jet Black on Black
Stock other than fabspeed exhaust, dinan intake, lci tails, black grill inserts, zhp shift knob, and wheel spacers.
Not showing any mechanical issues but goes in on Friday for annual service and will have them inspect and recommend.
Paint isn't perfect but looks pretty damn good after 14 years and was professionally polished and ceramic coated last spring.

On the fence about this, but worth putting some feelers out.
