Placed an order for these tires which are stock rear size for MBZ CLS63. I have read over and over this size was not available from Michelin.

Great clearance and a lot of talk about Michelin 285/30 19s only being available in a Cup 2 or A/S.

Correct, it's the Corvette GS/Z06/ZR1 tire. It's not even a normal Cup 2 -- obviously ZP but also extremely shallow to reduce tread squirm. It's TPC-spec which means developed for Chevy.
