This gauge (and e90post) actually saved me a bit of money already..

My car went into limp mode and several error codes came up on it.. I looked them up on google/e90post and found it was related to a brake vacuum sensor failure... Long story short, someone dripped brake fluid on the sensor bleeding the brakes and fouled it so I expected no warranty... I brought car into dealership and told them exactly what needs to be looked at and they tried to rob me for 5.8 hours labor + re-bleeding the brakes.

e90post told me otherwise to replace the sensor was not that involved. They finally readjusted to 1 hour labor and diagnosis and said "sorry our error." The gauge allowed me to do my homework...Never going back to that stealership again.

but anyways I love the gauge.. I like to leave it on ignition timing to see if the gas stations I use have good gas =)

I still have these rims.. I was thinking of refinishing them a light gunmetal and putting them on the LRP.. but it's kinda scary the company(Alloy Technic) seems to be gone? so if they get damaged it's over, no replacements..

Here are some new pics from last weekend with a few ///M friends

All the paint work was done locally at Sansossio autobody in Natick.. Phil paints a lot of BMWs and races them in his spare time as well.

The car was a mess from the dealer.. They did an extremely poor job with delivery prep.. Nightmare dealership.. They even accidentally removed the Lime Rock sticker (idiots).. They had to jump through many hoops at BMW corp to get a replacement. There were a lot of scratches on trunk and hood (like someone put a box on there).. some weird clearcoat damage on front fender too.. I just wanted the car in my hands and didn't want them to touch anything else further.. Phil paint corrected everything though and added new paint in some spots =)..
