Would the e90 headlights fit the e92 headlights?

Hi Guys,

So I am selling my 08 e90 M3 but I am thinking about swapping my OSS design headlight housing with someone who has an 09 e92 M3 and he said that his car has the adaptive lighting. I think mine does too. I am pretty sure that they all should fit perfectly with each other right? I just want to confirm because I don't want to screw people up. I have to ship my headlight housings to him and he'll ship his to me.

Thanks!!!

Ship to me. But regarding your question I believe the E90 and E92 M3 share the same headlights.

lol, thanks. I found out that my car doesn't have the adaptive lightnings where I turn the steering wheel, the low beams move toward that direction so I can't swap with this gentleman .

You car should have them, the adaptive lights only work when the switch is in the "automatic" position, if you just turn the switch to the on position they only auto-level, they don't turn to light the way around corners

Thanks man. That's what I thought too. I was going on to bmwusa.com and look for that option but it doesn't have it. I remembered mine was doing that when I first got it. I will test it out tomorrow. I was about to call bmw service tomorrow and find out.

I had to be told by the dealer too when I took my 335 in for service and told them the adaptive lights quit working.
