How many DCT owners have had the 1200 mile service?

I'm going for my 1200 service tomorrow. Am curious how many DCT owners have done so far?

I wonder if I should butt-in and tell the SA what to do or just let them do their jobs. I suppose they should know what to do, not to change the tranny fluid and to unlock the Launch Control mode etc..

Side question after service how long until you tried LC?

At least mention about not changing the tranny oil. You might be surprised what they say. It doesn't hurt, but it will if they put MTF in there.

Got my service at 1300, now have 1500 and haven't tried launch control or even enabling it yet. I'm easing up to redline until 3k miles. Been hitting 6.5k though in with some aggressive settings.

You better butt in. If you don't who knows what will happen to your car.

Already over 4k mi. Had my 1st service, not at the place I purchased. Irvine BMW (OC, CA) did the service. I did not have to tell them about the M-DCT fluid issue. They got it right by themselves. I did not use LC for a few hundred miles afer the service. It is fun, for sure, but a bit hard on the car and the M3 is not a drag car (obviously).
