Best rewards cc

Looking to get a rewards card, either travel or cash back/ rewards.. I looked into Delta skymiles AMEX, Citi CashRewards, and BOA Alaskan Airlines... Any other ones that I should take a look at?

i use wells fargo. 1 point for every dollar spent. linked to both my credit card and debit card. no annual fee. anything with some cash back would be nice to look into.

i would never use those airline cards unless i traveled a lot. their interest rates and annual fees are too much.

Since I don't live at home anymore I travel at least 3 times a year during thanksgiving, christmas and summer. I might just get one that has rewards but you can use it towards mileage points.

I have a Shell Platinum Mastercard that I use for most everything. Since I only use Shell gas, I get 5% back on my gasoline purchases, and 1% back on everything else I buy. I like the fact that it's simple, no points to earn, and each statement shows the rebate I earned the prior month (which is automatically deducted from what I owe).

I also have an AMEX I use for important stuff. I have a ton of points on it, and should really use them at some point; just such a hassle.

Then I have a few other cards I rotate in/out of my wallet.

i have discover open road card. 5% cash back auto/gas. 5-20% online purchase. and 1% general purchase. great card!
i also have citicard rewards 3% gas/auto 1% on everything and
chase rewards only 1% on everything.

Chase Freedom Card. 3% cash back on top 3 categories of expenditures every month, 1% on everything else. When you accumulate $50, you can redeem $50, but when you accumulate $200, they gift you $50 and mail you a $250 check

Ah, I'm guessing you don't redeem within 2 years? Yeah, that's the biggest drawback of this card...hence I tend to spend more to reach the $200 cashback level

Gives me a reason to spend, why not
