DCT Oil Change - OEM or Liquimoly

Just on 75k km so will do a DCT oil change.
Looks like the OEM oil is $500 more than the Liquimoly.

Anyone experienced either and care to comment on the quality or applicability of the Liquimoly equivalent? A lot cheaper but is it good enough.

I track firmly every 2 months.

I don't have DCT - however
in situations like this I lean towards being conservative - -
It's nothing to mess with/ go OEM

Looks like Pentosin is the OE supplier, can be found for about $25/L.

Whoever is quoting that price for OEM fluid has a large pineapple out.

I just did my DCT service, mechanic used BMW oil for it and we use Liquimoly for engine oil. $242 for oil (7lts I assume)

I also changed the filter, pan and gasket as part of the service

I used liquimoly on recommendation from my euro indy service guy. He races and tracks his e46 m3. I figured he knows a lot more than me. Had no problems so far nor expect any.

sparesbox.com.au are convenient (free postage over $50) and sometimes have 10% off sales

So what’s the general concensus on mileage for a DCT oil change? Is 50k km tad bit too early if car doesn’t even gets driven hard or tracked?

Nope, I did mine at 59,000km and it drives a lot smoother now.

How much of that is labour. Vs parts. Surely the parts are only circa 900.

If not done so already spend an extra 130 bucks on a gts dct tune and you think that your dct service makes it a lot smoother.

Perhaps do your tranny at the same time as you do the rod bearings and throttle body actuators. I'd plow money into and exhaust and gts dct tune way before before touching a non weeping / leaking tranny with 40 odd k on the car.
