Current status is: 112 (Order scheduled for Production)

Hopefully I can schedule it for Performance Center Delivery in Spartanburg SC between 7-14May2008. My MSP SA is trying to get my Production date moved ahead.

Best Regards,

I have no idea about when I may expect delivery. Currently I am status 153.

Jet Black w/Black Novillo and Titanium
Nav
Enhanced audio w/Ipod
PDC
Heated Seats

It will be fun to drive Swamps and see if I would have wanted the EDC. The only thing I did want but couldn't have was the Comfort Access. Other than that, no compromises. Wait, I wanted the gun metal rims......anyone from another country who would like to swap for Satin Chrome? BTW any pics yet of the 18" rims destined for the US?

Greg naw....Living in the NE I made the hard but to me sensible decision to keep the 18" that will come at no extra charge and swap them out in Oct/Nov for winter tires as the snowy season for 2008 approaches! I'll then get a set of aftermarket 19" lightweight wheels and tires in the spring 2009.

Since I may be deployed overseas in Sept; I'll only get to drive the car for60 days or so and would get back in the middle/end of winter in 2009 or so and can reward myself with a 19" wheel homecoming package.

What is funny is that my CA emailed me asking why I didn't order the Premium package as it would cost just $200 extra (I ordered BMW Assist $750 and Leather -$950)....but I don't want the CF trim or alluminum trim and like the Ti Shadow trim from what I could configure on the BMW Configuration tool on the website...thus the deletion of ZPP.

Where and what is your car looking like?

That makes sense on the wheels. 18s will be better for Winter tires.

It's stupid they won't let you pick the base trim with ZPP. Now you miss out on Homelink as well.

My car (should be here about 3/15):

0837 - 2008 M3 Coupe
300 - Alpine White paint
NCH2 - Fox Red Novillo leather
4MY - Carbon Leather interior trim
ZPP - Premium Package
ZTP - Technology Package
2MT - 19" wheels
494 - Heated front seats
653 - HD radio
6FL - iPod adapter/USB
752 - Enhanced Premium Sound

Wished I would have ordered the rear shade.

Cheers!

I did the bluetooth on my X5 without any problem and will probably be doing the SAT Radio also as soon as bimmernav or eac puts the proper modules and DIY instructions on the net. Should be simple and take me about 1hr or so that it took me to bluetooth my 2003 X5. Would Sat radio it too but am not sure if I am going to keep her around long...am looking at the X6 Hybrid or Cayenne Hybrid when they come out in 2009/20010 or later.

So would you just go ahead and get the carbon fiber packgage IF I can't get Titianium Shadow trim AND ZPP? It is my 2nd choice and I think would look okay in the Graphite Grey exterior/black interior. Your thoughts?

As for 19"'s I did think about it hard...like hell the cost of a set of Ps2's is probably gonna BE $1200 after taxes almost! I could sell the 19' OEM's on ebay...yadda yadda...then put the PS2 they came on the aftermarket wheels. Many variations of this went thru my head believe me. However doing that I'd STILL be paying for 19" wheels AND then 18' winter tires AND wheels. So while I won't mind riding in the winter on 18" winter tires and OEM rims...the other 75-80% of the time I do want to look better on my 19"'s!

Good luck on your car...less than 30 days to go! I am jealous! LOL

Shady...aren't you the one who keeps posting the Hamman M3 in black with the 20' rim package on it as the model for your mods to your car when it arrives? Why not get OEM 18" since you're going to upgrade to 20" Hamman's anyway and thus bypass the 19" wheel disruption and wait? Unless you're gettin DCT too....then you're SOL I guess!

Good luck...just a thought...

Talking Yes That Would Be Me

NO I DON'T WANT THE 18 INCH RIMS. IF THE CAR COMES WITH A OPTION OF 19 INCH RIMS THAT'S WHAT I AM GOING WITH. I WANT MY M3 FULLY LOADED WITH ALL AVAIL. OPTIONS EXCEPT 2MK I WANT MY M3 6MT. NOW WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY 19 INCH RIMS WHEN I GET 20 INCH RIMS.....AHHH NEXT QUESTION I KNOW SELLING THEM IS NOT A OPTION.

Hurray got a production number today...and estimated week of production. Guess that means I am status: 37 Order is at BMW NA at least!

"Dear Pentagon Car Sales Customer,

Your new BMW has been allocated factory production # XXXXXXXX and is scheduled to be produced in the Week of the 19.May 2008

Changes to the specifications of your new BMW will only
be possible up to the 21.April 2008"

Oh yeah changed to carbon leather and add the ZPP package as it was only $200 more and I figured homelinke would cost me that much at least in parts later on! Will keep u in the loop!

Car is IN NY; just cleared customs. Delivery down in SC is 11 July! Now if I could just figure out how to register the dayum thing with the DMV in Maryland! Their site is confusing me to hell! Any other military sales guys registered their cars in their states yet care to fill a clueless guy in on what is needed?

Jerez Black E92 M3 Coupe for trade?

Looking to trade a Jerez Black E92 coupe for a Sedan M3. I have it on hand in my possession and only about 100 miles. I am willing to take someone's Sedan Order for delivery later in return for my Coupe now. I am having a child and need the four doors!
