Bmw M3 S65 Part-out
Hello, I have an S65 removed from a '09 M3 with 54k miles. History: The previous owner noticed a slight knock from the engine. He replaced the rod bearings with bearings from VAC, and replaced the hardware with ARP hardware. Initially the knock went away, but came back a short time later. At this point he decided to replace the engine. The engine was still running when removed. I purchased the engine with plans to rebuild it. Once I got into the engine I found it spun a front main bearing. Therefore the block, crank, and crankshaft bed plate is no good. At this point I have decided to part the engine out and cut my losses. Maintenance History:Oil changes every 10k miles. Service performed at BMW Quebec and BMW Erhard. Spark plugs, thermostat, and coolant temp. sensor replaced 400 miles ago. I am located just South of Nashville, TN. Willing to ship. I am parting the engine out. One actuator sold.
Several parts still available. Engine accessories. Oil pan. Exhaust manifolds. Intake manifolds. I have a good crankshaft that I was planning on using in this build, but is now for sale. |
