That is pretty "haterish" though... Who are we to say or judge how he mods his car and spends his money? Just saying.

Because the title of the thread and the fact that the owner kept saying that this car would see lots of track time. I never once made any negative comments about Powerbeast's builds because he always said he was building a show car. Why not call it like it is and not try to pose?

And part of the reason I always throw playful jabs at him is because I saw him on the road once in Sunnyvale and when I got next to him trying to give a thumbs up, he just took off flying down the 237 well over 100mph when there was some traffic.

Yeah well I'm the owner of the car buddy. Your comments are ridiculous and you know nothing about the build. The way this car came out it would have been sin to track it. It was too nice. I don't care what your opinions are, I set out to build a track oriented car because I like race cars. It's not my only car and I decided to not ruin it for track days. You track your car? Cool! We can go out and I'll take a different car. I would love to see your ability lol, I see your practice a lot with your mouth. Oh and I am from Alamo, hope to see you around.

I'm confused. Are you e92involved? Lets go back in time here. I was genuinely nice about everything:

I see nothing ridiculous here. After a few more photo updates, you post that the car is being parted out. You seem to be the one who talks the talk with nothing to back it up with. I post track videos all the time on this forum and no, I don't consider myself a good driver, but at least I get out there. Saying an M3 with $8000 race suspension and $12000 race-caliber brakes is too nice to be on a race track just sounds silly to me. But what do I know? I don't know anything about the car show scene. You said the car was designed for the track, have the parts to back it up, said you planned on getting it out there, but the car got parted out before it ever did. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on these boards and that's just what I think. No need to be mad about it. Not sure if your last sentence was a threat or not, but what car should I be looking out for?

As for my ability, I'm really only good at Laguna Seca. Still need a lot more seat time at T hill and Sears. Here's a session of my best lap at Laguna: http://d.pr/6FHF

I'm going again early next month and hope to break into the VERY HIGH 1:30's.

Might be lame but Radiant's brought up some good points.

why get offended if someone says the mods installed on the car are pointless when the car isn't being driven on the track to experience the modifications' intended results??

Their is no denying the car is nice along with some very high-end parts. But Radiant's comments were to just point out that the car simply wasn't being driven on the track when the owner claimed it would be hence the car/parts being built into it.

Because it's not radiant's car, people do change their mind, and it's lame to argue about this

WE are on a public forum. Anyone can say what they want about what is discussed, posted or shown here.

I've never understood why grown men get offended when they post pics of their cars on a public forum such as the internet and get butthurt about it.

After sharing pictures of your car the Comments that come with it whether good, bad, critical or helpful should all be taken equally.

*edit/addition

I am in no way "arguing" about this but I think what Radiant was merely mentioning was the fact that the OP/OP's shop stated the car would be a tracked car with the obvious intention of the installed mods primarily being used for a track car..HOWEVER...the car never came close to a track day and was more of an MFest/Show car.

I tend to agree with radiant on this one. If the title of the build wasn't that it was for the track, I assume he would've left the guy alone. My car has way more done to it than I would ever need for the street and I'm just looking to get into really tracking it.

It's funny that people are so sensitive to a little bit of someone messing with them. I agree that you build your car for you and no one else's opinion matters, but call it like it is.

This is a gorgeous build regardless of whether it hit the track or not.

If you're going to call someone an idiot, you should probably get you're vs your right.

Thank you. This is the bottom line point right here, it's not your car so why give 2 shits about it if you don't agree with how it was modified. Be the better person and don't say shit then. Whether he's being a poseur or not, who cares. You cannot deny it was a great build.

Public forum or not, I have better manners than to talk shit about someone and how they spend their money and mod their car. You end up looking like the ass instead of pointing out something valid. He even admitted it, it seems to be more like a personal issue because he snobbed his ass in person and drove like an ass in front of him. Get over it.

Peace guys.
