I put about 40 supercharged track days on my original bearings before I changed them. I would change the oil after no more than every 4 days and never launched the car from a stop. Only reason I changed them was the car was at the shop for belt replacement and other minor stuff so I saved a little on labor. However, they came out looking pretty darn good so there was really no need to replace them (other than peace of mind).

2008 E92, Supercharged since 2009.
4 track days on original RBs before hitting 66,000 miles. 2 spotless Blackstone reports as well just prior to my RB upgrade. I was in the "Rod bearings are an internet hoax" camp, but then I noticed that in just about every picture of RBs that was being posted, the RBs just didn't look normal to me so I DIY'd them with BE bearings and bolts.

My car drives among other things now for 30-40,000 km on the Nuerburging Nordschleife.
On some days 30 laps = 600 km always to the limiter, lap after lap. Every 60-70,000 km rod bearing replacement. Castrol 10W60 every 8-10.000 km (!) No oil analysis or anything, just continuous firing, the bearing shells looked absolutely top last time.

Nobody loves your car more than you do. If you have mechanical experience, and a weekend to spare, I would encourage you to at least read through SYT_Shadow's DIY (and Theodore's notes within) a couple of times and watch his YouTube video as well. Reading the DIY, 5+ times, and watching the video, twice, gave me a realistic sense of what I might be getting myself into, before deciding to dive in. Yes, it's a huge leap of faith to decide to dive in and crack open the crankcase, but the DIY has all of the information you'll need. There were a couple of times when I needed clarification or just some reassurance, and SYT_Shadow answered the PMs immediately.

I've done 3 S65 rod bearing jobs. Mine were 30k-ish mile examples and were toast. The other two had less miles and were on their way out. BE Bearings went in and all was good again in the world.
Just do it. If you toss the engine on track you may take others with you. I've driven through an oil slick going up the hill at Laguna when an E46M3 tossed it's oil load on track. No fun. If it had been in turn 9 or turn 1 things would have been much different.
