i have a problem with compromise. i either do it 100% or i can't. the vision i have for the car can't be completed without a shitload of money. so i can't run $3k coils if i have already decided in my head on $8k coils. lol my ocd won't allow it.
i can kinda get by with my partial strip, but its bugging me. hehe

There is a diminishing return on a street car (if you decide you will not settle for any mod that will degrade its street usability in any way) where no amount of money will stop you from ruining the car as a street vehicle - I am approaching that asymptote and it is helpful knowing the next set of improvements would either have to be bespoke or cost nearly as much as the car cost brand new 12 years ago

Underrated post. There is no shortcut or magic bullet. Just buy the right part the first time and be done with it.

What makes it worse is when your testing all your " shortcuts" on track and then you become that guy with nothing but excuses lol

I was that guy lmao

Maintaining a car's street manners and legality is what makes most of these types of decisions difficult.

Otherwise the answer has been easy for me...just delete it and it doesn't need to be pretty

Is this the hardware you're replacing with titanium pieces or just removing all of it?

Hey Roastbeef, with the rear bumper off, can you take a direct shot of the rear? Wondering if there's anything intruding directly behind the wheel well - thinking about shaving that area off the bumper

Replacing. The six nuts hold the bar on. The countersunk bolt and four nuts hold the tow hook base onto the crash bar.
They are already lighter than steel, but I'm not sure they are aluminum. I'm just doing it now to be stupid, really.

Gotcha, nice that the crash bar is already carbon fiber
