500hp upgrade, worth it??
I'm about to buy the g-power sk1 supercharger kit, they running a special and it costs sliglty over 4k all inclided. Now the next stage sc is the 580hp, but it costs over 2000 dollars more. Do u guys think that the increase in power and torque( plus 80 on both) would be felt and give the car a good new feeling? This way in the future I have the possibility to upgrade to 580hp SC. I'm also considering engine longevity, at 500hp the boost pressure is pretty low and therefore easier on the internals.....what's ur opinion?

You may not get all that power out of a stage two but you never know. Its really hard to say on each individual car, but to your point you are really going to notice having a supercharger on the car. 500 HP is a big jump in overall performance. You have to consider how you drive and that additional wear is possible. But if you have a 2008 and its running well with no bearings issues, you have changed rod bearings, nows the time. The depreciation is done on the car and you can have fun with it from that perspective.
But before you spend the money, I see you are in Jamaica. Do you have a place you can really run it fast on the island? I was just in Nassau and found there was no real place to go fast.

Yes, we have some very nice new highways and 2 race tracks. Engine is pretty fresh, 2013 with 29000 miles. I already like the car as is, I have a tune, catless and exhaust, but I feel just a bit more power is what the car needs, expecially in the mid-range.
