Nice, may I ask what wheel and tire setup you have to handle the ESS kit? I am contemplating on an ESS kit myself. Thanks and enjoy!!

295 PS4s in the back, plenty of grip, even with SC's m3's make no tq and are very linear.

Bought mine at 32. Have owned for two years. Have thought about selling in the past, but I think I'm going to keep this as long as it will go, hoping for 200,000+ miles. car currently has about 68k miles. Bought it when there was just 22k on odo. Jerez Black E92 with 6MT

Jerez

Mine is a keeper.
Why sell? The local BMW sales guys tout an "upgrade" with a lesser Vmax. No matter. LOL

I didn't think I would ever get to drive it on the Autobahn or Nordschleiffe, but now that is likely to happen after a second voyage across the Atlantic.

E92 M3 in any configuration is the tits relative anything since. #opinion

31 years old and this is my first M3. Flew to Tulsa, OK. this last thursday and drove a 2008 Silverstone Metallic e90 M3 6MT back 1,300 miles to California over a 2 day span. Have been dreaming about an M3 since I was a 12 year old kid in Costa Rica and the one wealthy guy in my little town had a Pheonix Yellow e46 M3. I'm coming from a 2018 STi and have absolutely 0 regrets. This car makes the Subie feel like a boat.

35, first m3, purchased one month ago and loving it!

Been wanting an e9x m3 since it came out, finally got the green light from the wife!

Prior to this, I had a 370z, and this m3 is now my 23rd car.

I have had my 2011 E93 M3 for 6 months, and an E46 for 5 years now. I had many Detroit iron muscle cars over the years, but am glad I took the plunge to bimmers! Oh yeah, 56 years young and do 95% of my own wrenching.

I've had my 2011 E92 M3 6MT (Comp) Jerez Black on Fox Red for almost a year now. I've owned a 335i and a 435i. Nothing compares to this car haha. But I bought the car at 19 years old (currently 20). But no, parents did not buy my car. I actually sell cars for the competing German car brand.

75 (as far as I remember). Bimmer history...

Age 25: 1969 Alpine White 2002 (that car was a miracle in its day)

[Hiatus: Three career changes, two wives, three sons, a dozen other vehicles, and huge debt, now paid in full.]

Age 54: 1995 Helrot M3 coupe (modded to the gills)
Age 55: 2003 Black X5 (for spouse)
Age 59: 2005 Silver Gray M3 coupe (likewise heavily modded)
Age 60: 2007 Silver Gray X3 (for spouse)
Age 71: 2011 Jerez Black M3 coupe (lightly modded)

BMW regrets, all $$$-related:

I blew way too much on mods for the e36 and e46.
I wish I could have kept them both.
The X5 was a money pit.

Bought the car at 21 and am now 24.

Was my dream car ever since I saw a LRE (or just an orange e92) fly past my school bus on the way home from middle (maybe high) school. The sound of that thing still lives in my brain.

That's quite a run! Any advice for a guy in his late 30's (married/2 kids) on his first BMW?

I was starting college in 2008 when they came out.

Went to med school and now finally finishing residency in two months. Turn 31 this weekend but got the M3 when I was 29.

Timing was just right for me in 2019 when we got it. But I will always dream of what it could have been like to own one of these straight off the showroom floor.

Pic from then and now.
