Re-using the Trunk M3 Emblem

I'm looking to do an LCI trunk swap on my E90. Although I'll easily be able to swap the BMW roundel and trunk lip spoiler from me pre-LCI trunk, I'm wondering if it's possible (or worth the hassle) to also swap the M3 emblem (i.e. removing it from the pre-LCI trunk and installing it on the new LCI trunk)? I would rather save the $100 CAD it costs to buy a new one.

It’s just double sided tape. Remove, clean, prep, reapply and trim.

Thanks. I understand it's double-side tape, but what kind? I'll be picking up 3M to re-apply my lip spoiler, however this may be too think for the emblem?

The back of the emblem isn’t flat. It’s shaped to accommodate the tape and the emblem doesn’t sit flush on the trunk anyway

Looks like the E90 instructions are for the pre-lci trunk (I even tested it on my pre-lci trunk). Are there instructions for the lci E90 floating around?

^^Agreed. Looks like I can just use the inner tail light as a good reference point. Thanks!

By the way - your E90 with the MPE is perfection !
