Thinking about vinyl wrapping my e90

Hello.
Bit tired of the black car so I am thinking about vinyl wrapping my car matte grey.

I have seen a few from distance but never up close.... so those who are more familiar with vinyl wrapped car, how neat are the finishes? How do they hold up in the long run? I am in so cal so strong sunlight worries me. Do they discolor? How do they hold up weather? to changes in temperature? Especially the hood area...

Any recommended shops in So Cal? How long does the install usually take?
