Seat Rail Uneven

Hi,

My electronic seats in the e92 m3 seem to all work fine, but it seems one side is uenven in the rails. Not sure what can be done to get it lined up?

Any advice?

Need photos, inspect the inside of the seat and also verify that both sides adjust evenly.

I posted a photo that shows the seat rails are uneven. Are there better angles? When I move the seat forward, it seems one side will go all the way forward, the other side moves as well, but just stops even though there's still room to go. Both sides still move forward, just seems one side already out of alignment.

Power pins 4 and 8 on the seat connector with the seat out of the car and see why it’s not going anymore.

Pin 4 is b+ and pin 8 is ground.

Can you please elaborate on this? Both sides seem to still move. Is it possible the pins got bent out of shape?

Thanks!

The inner side is already out of alignment, unless you figure out what the actual root issue is it doesn’t make sense trying to realign it because it’ll go off again which is why I told you to power those two pins so you can see if there’s an actual problem with the rail.

Is there to manually move it? I tested all the electronic functions and it seems to be working fine. It moves forward and backwards on both sides.

Thank you for your responses!

You need to run either Forwards or backwards to even them out.
See pic from when I did my racing seats.
Forward is one rail backwards is the other.

I ran them both forward and backwards, but it seems the alignment is off so it just maintains that placement. Left side is a few inches more forward.

Is there a way I can remove a few bolts and just move one side back a few inches to match the other?
