* the rear dust shield needs to be trimmed to not rub the rotor. Furthermore, it needs to be trimmed around the rear caliper ears as it won't clear

I honestly don't know if I would have attempted this if I had known the rear requires so much work and trimming. I really like the end result though. Good luck.

Do people have any luck on track with this retrofit kit? I only do 2-3 days a year and I’m by no means an advanced driver

I've done about 10 track days on them, super happy with them, a decent improvement over stock brakes (which I also tracked for several years before this).

Currently running Ferodo DS1.11 track pads and don't feel like I need anything more at the moment, still working on fixing the nut behind the wheel.

Well, first impressions of the 2NH brake kit from the M2C are predictably very positive. The downside is of course the cost, spindles and all and of course the M2 rims.

The major difference is the size of the front pads. These are double the size of those that fit the blue brakes.

The camber correction spindles also yielded decent camber upfront -1.65 at 62 cm ride height.

Hi I was looking to do this brake upgrade on my e93 335i. I have fitted the front 380mm rota using the adapter bracket from seems legit garage and now want to do the rears and wanted to ask if anyone would know if the complete m3 rear knuckle assembly would fit the 335i so I can just use spacers like you guys are doing. Thank you

PM me dude, I will try to help you through my experience.

The only issue I still have with this is my ABS doesn't work properly due to trying to depin and repin the F8X wheel speed sensors.

I've just pulled the car back out of hibernation and hoping to fix it today.

Hi all, an update for anyone who is interested, my experience with F8x abs wheel speed sensors is THEY are not compatible with the ABS system in my e92. I did a few quick verification checks for resistance and node voltage at the plug which was enough to tell me it is outside the fault tolerance of the ABS system without coding. My simple fix was to use the original wheel speed sensors by cut off the tab and plastic welding it back on at a 90 degree offset. Easy peasy.

The original post mentioned getting F8X dust shields or cutting the E9X ones. Has anyone installed F8X dust shields in the rear? If so, any issue installing? What's the part numbers?

You should clarify you are talking about a 335i, the ABS systems are different compared to an m3. This is the M3 section and this thread is geared towards M3s. I believe there are other threads on e90post that should be more helpful to non m owners.

Front f80 shields will work, I installed these after.

Not sure on the rear I haven't tried.

Same part number for the sensor mate and yes it was a 335i. I get this is targeted at m3 however if you want to search the internet most links take you here. Why not just include both.

Has anybody attempted this upgrade with the F82 (2017 M4) carbon ceramic setup??? The calipers appear quite different, so I doubt it. Might just need custom adaptors machined? I run 19’s with Ohlins but not sure on wheel clearance as well for the fronts.

Any information would be appreciated, Thanks!

No reason for it not to work.

All the f8x/f87 calipers are compatible with the f8x spindle. The CCB calipers are dimensionally the same as the M2 Comp brakes (which have been done btw). The only difference there is that you would have CCB rotors, which again are dimensionally the same as the 400mm iron rotors from an M2 comp and many do swap out CCB rotors to iron when they plan to track their cars.

I'm getting ready to swap the rear brakes to F80 calipers and rotors. Does anyone know if the E9X wear sensor works with the F8X pads? If not, can I use the F8X sensor?

I have read through this entire thread and could not see any reply on OEM 359m wheels fitting over these callipers, can anyone confirm if they have been able to correctly fit these. Mine is a factory comp pack and I don’t want to change rims
