Hoping a Switch 2 comes along with this game or soon after. The Switch is old, very behind on internal guts, and is limping along.

Nah you dont want the Switch 2 too fast. You will end up with the WiiU Switch.

The Switch is now 6 years old. Nintendo is well on its way to making a new console. When we'll see it is anyone's guess. If they turned what was to be a gen update into the OLED only to make a better and more powerful Nintendo console, I'm all about it.
