Put my car on the dyno.
Any reason why my car would be running rich? It doesn't start lean then rich out. It just runs rich the whole time the whole pull.

freaking o2 sensors again? I just got an epic tune but comparing to friends the AFR looks off. It's gone through a couple revisions but I think it's a hardware problem. Nothing crazy where I can't run the car but we want to optimize it.
Was just wondering what types of hardware problems can cause the car to throw more fuel.

Going to test for various leaks, o2 sensors, etc. Just wanted to know possible causes so that I personally can understand. I've read possible cause on different platforms. I did change the filter and had to take off the charge pipe and put it back on. For some reason tbat I don't get be read this could be an issue too lol. (Maybe not installed back correctly and there is gap/leak somewhere.

Cars and coffee was insane today. The level of quality and detail in these super cars is simply inspiring.

The most frustrating thing I deal with is INPA. After a nightmarish install process costing me hours and hours...got it working for a year.
Now it ain't working again.

Fun day at COTA yesterday. Unfortunately my M3 wasn’t ready for the trip so made a late substitution to my GT-R. First time with it on the track and such a big difference from the M3 (I know pretty obvious). It’s stock and running 285 front 345 rear MP4S’s. The traction and pure speed are just awesome & fit this track well. But as is soooo much understeer... took a bit to get used to coming from my M3 even with just square 275s and decent camber. They both share the same DCT heat issue - had to back off typically a little over half way through each session to keep from overheating the trans. I had issues with the DCT and heat there with the M3 as well
My plan for the GT-R has been a big horsepower build (4 digits) - might reconsider that now. Do not think it would take a whole lot to be stupid fast on the track & definitely enjoyed it. Will not replace my M3 as my primary track car though - fun factor is just too high and still being pretty much stock have lots of upgrade potential when my skills improve to justify them. One of the very few opportunities for a clean lap - lots of traffic |

jktx which gtr model do you have? instead of adding stupid power, you'd be better off reducing weight and addressing any weak points. however, do as you wish since you're signing the bills.

Be forwarned... a faster platform can be exponentially more expensive to operate.
Depending on the group and club, most of that $ then gets wasted sitting in traffic. As you said, you got one clean lap. The E90 is, besides its gremlins (and all of them aside from P-cars have track gremlins), a really hard-to-beat club-day track car. |
