Tire Sizing Help Needed
Hey all, I'm back after a long hiatus. Just got back into my E93 after awhile and I'm gearing up to replace tires. I need help finding new tires for my current setup. The E93 is a cruiser on stock suspension, mostly doing city and highway driving, with some spirited driving mixed in there.
Currently I run Apex EC7's in 9.5/10.5 ET22 with 265/30/19 & 285/30/19. Way back when I got this set up I bought Conti DW (and loved them), but now there doesn't seem to be too many manufacturers producing this size. The only reasonable tire choice would be firehawk Indy 500's (and don't know too much about this tire). My question to you fellow members is...can I downsize to 255/35/19 & 275/35/19 without it looking too stretched? Or can I upsize my rear? I've seen a few threads where people have been running 295/30/19, but I don't want to risk rubbing. Open to hearing your thoughts and suggestions. |

I have EC7's in 9/10 and run the stock 245/265 sizes and it looks fine. So 255/275 will look fine on the 9.5/10.5 wheels. Keep in mind that some brands run wider or narrower than others. Try and find a tire that has a tread width the same or maybe .5" smaller than the wheel width and you'll be fine.
