Sweet! Just curious how you were going to route the exhaust from the turbo back?

Lord no! I hope that was a joke. That'll look way too rice. I wouldn't even do that to my 1000 whp S2000. LOL

Thanks well right now mid to upper 700whp...it will run a race gas blend with meth injection. Then I want to save and build the motor. Right now I'm going to upgrade the main bearings and rod bearings...

Do you think the stock block will hold mid to upper 700 rwhp?

I am coming from 335i N54 engine and if those cars holding 800 rwhp with stock block S65 engines with 900 rwhp shouldn't be any problem..

The S65 motor is not much like the N54/N55. The S65 rods probably won't hold turbo torque for long.

Should be fine considering the guy with a TT m3 is in the upper 700s with a completely stock motor

Highly stressed, hi revving, all aluminum, high compression, thin walled s65 vs a motor that was built from the ground up from cast iron with thick walls for boost and heavy duty slow revving internals aka the German 2jz. Not really following.

I don't even think it will make it out of the dyno alive, s65 is nothing even close to the n54 engine that has forged internals, but hey what do I know... it's not like the S65 engine blows holes through the block bone stock anyway lol

Maybe use a boost controller to limit boost at mid rpm to keep the torque closer to 400 than 500 lbs rwtq while you build another engine. Or, instead of spending time to do main bearings now (a bunch more labor than rod bearings alone), pull the heads and drop in stronger rods and lower compression pistons as others have done for high power centrifugal builds. Not doing pistons and rods puts at risk the preventative maintenance of rod bearings and main bearings that you wrote you would be doing now. A rod through the block is a mess, disables the car, and makes you source another block.

or I might just source another motor and build that and run my current setup until I have the new motor built and drop it in....
