Wow, this car is rather impressive. My question about this car is, will it be highly tunable. With a nice tune this car would really be a monster for a bargain price.

It's running almost 2 bar on a 2.0 liter motor. So, with the stock turbo...no.

I feel like I've seen another thread like this before....or 5 of them.

But I doubt it will be tunable...much like I doubt the new m3/m4 will be tunable.

You can ask only soo much of an engine when running such high boost.

Big difference between what is being asked of the 2.0L AMG and the 3.0L S55 in the upcoming M3. There should be a lot more headroom with the M3.

also generally BMW does not run high boost on its cars. Thats why they adapt to aftermarket tunes so well : )

According to the press releases the s55 will be running pretty high boost.

No, at 36PSI boost on a 2.0L, I doubt you would want to go any higher. Unless the bottom end is forged or titanium, I doubt there will be massive gains like the N54 or the M157 uncorked. Time will tell

Really? Come on not even fair. The cla looks way better. But looks are subjective.

Seeing the CLA in person has made quite an difference in my opinion of it. Especially in black the car looks menancing, and the dotted grill is quite refreshing. I cannot wait to see the AMG version of it in person

Completely opposite for me.
After seeing it in person, the CLA just looks too small and squished.
The Proportion is just wrong, made the car very ugly.

Don't worry, the new C-AMG with the 4.0 liter TTV8 will demolish the S55 motor.

Yes, quite subjective - I've always felt like the CLA looks like a chopped of WW2 helmet.

The weight distribution is def in favor of the M235i though, no?
