Just sharing - Drive to Vegas from Cali and Back.
First long drive with the M3. What an amazing car! Heading to sin city was a blast. A few times I was able to sort of maximize the cars potential and it was just awesome. I almost forgot about M mode because I was just enjoying mormal modes just fine. Then i push it and wow, the car came alive like crazy. Super near perfect ride! On the drive back saw a AW vert e92 m3 on the side of the road with a ripped blown left front tire, just wandering if he was a member. Hopefully you got out of that situation fine. The drive back last night was terrible, super heavy traffic and a few fogged area scared the shit out of me. But the M3 did its part and overall my ride was comfortable.

Yeah driving to vegas in the M3 is really nice. The power really comes in handy for passing and not getting stuck behind slower traffic.
I don't drive crazy or anything, but last time I went, I left at 5pm on a friday and was in bumper to bumper traffic for awhile, but still managed to get to the hotel by 8:15ish. I was pretty happy with the time. Getting stuck in the middle of nowhere is always a thought in the back of my mind, but keeping a spare just isn't realistic. Barely had enough room for luggage. |
