Yeah, sometimes the color shimmers more like a dark aubergine, in sunlight it's baaaam

Here`s the last video of my car:
Yes, everything is in German (Bavarian dialect) language

On friday, 7th july was my first trackday at the Hockenheim GP track
The event was organized by BMW M.
I started in the group "street", with mx 33 cars on the track.
My car was the only n/a car in the group (the rest were f-series) so I was a unicorn

We had four slots with open pitlane, the longest turn was about 55 min

Temperature was at 10 a.m. abot 20° celcius, in the noon at 12 a.m. about 24-25° celcius.
Pure sun, some clouds and not too warm

Oiltemperature was max 120°, oil consumption during the day was 0,5-0,6 l.

Started in the morning by doing two laps with 70% throttle, then went in the box to check the tire pressure on my Pilot Sport 4S: 2.3 bar warm.

In the noon, after the lunch, I went down to 2.2 bar warm.

The brakes hold up the whole time at Hockenheim:
no judder, no squealing, no failure
i run these AP kit on my BMW:
https://apracing.com/performance-upg...ls-cp5555m1049
https://apracing.com/performance-upg...it-cp6602-1001

Also the lsd core rebuilt by "driftflo" and the stiff rear subframe bushings were fun to drive

The tires reached the limit on the track and started to smear a little bit

I had no time to beat, just havin`a good time by driving pleasure and meet some nice folks.

Will I do a trackday again?
Sure, I´ve booked the next appointment on september 29th on the Nordschleife+GP track with BMW M

Now with Recaro Sportsters

I sit about 2" lower than oem, but not centered to the middle of the steering wheel
Now I have to fix the error code from the airbag by coding and get the seat heating operating
Mine had full electric seats with lots of cables, but there are only two wires by the Recaros

As I read in this thread
https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1676281
the pins 4+8 (brown and red wires) have to be pinned in the black plug and thats it?

I just came across this thread. I love the color of your E92! I have a soft spot for Purple cars, as earlier this year we just bought a G42 M240 in Thundernight Metallic. Hoping to take my e93 M3 6spd to the Hockenheim Ring as well next season, after I do some work to it over the coming cooler winter months. Gute Arbeit und vielen Dank, dass Sie Ihre Fortschritte mit uns teilen.

So, new floor mounts were installed and I sit a lot more centered than before in my Recaros
Comfort is great: I travelled +480 km to near by Munich in the morning for the floor mount, new ecu and dct tune (now revs to 8600 rpm), a little wheel alignment, installing oem exhaust (modded exhaust overpowered the Karbonius airbox) and the evening back home:
no pain in the back
I also did an oil analysis: the Shell Ultra Racing 10W60 was still doing good after 5000 km and two trackdays, no unusual metal inside to worry about
I will still change the oil ~6000 km.

I tested the new setting at the Nürburgring on sep 29th with BMW M
weather was cold (5° celcius in the morning), track was still wet, slippery and foggy.
So not the perfect conditions to do a trackday

But the sound, under full load, my god
It revs, and revs, and revs

Here two short clips onboard of the induction noise under full throttle:

May you tell me which floor mount setup you used for the Sportster CS?

I have been looking for a way to install them lower than stock (which is too high imho) and yours looks promising :-)

Thanks a lot!

Once again it was time for a little repairs and maintenance.
-steering gear was leaking
-engine oil leakage
-dct leakage
-power steering pump was dead
-footwheel modul (Fussraummodul) was dead
-rod bearings
-engine mounts

Car is back from the shop and runs very well
