Going to be taking these out of my car soon, so I figured I'd post them up. I bought these off of an older gentleman who had them in his M4. They've been great for me, but I've decided to move to a fixed bucket. There are a few small scuffs on the carbon as well as some slight wear on the driver's side bolster. Other than that, these are in fantastic condition. I'll take updated pictures when I pull them from the car. Please PM if interested. Thanks! |

A couple questions:
What does a seat/rail weight together? How does the seat height compare to stock? Is there more or less headroom than stock? Are there any airbags present (I don't think there are, but checking...) Did you code them out? That's a manual slider, correct? Fore/aft adjustment can be done easily? |

Not too sure about the weight, but they felt a little bit lighter than the Recaro Sportster CSs I was replacing. I believe these are the lightest reclining buckets available, but let me get back to you on actual figures. As for seat height, that's going to be mostly dependent on the rails and mounts you use. I've never used these seats on the same hardware as the CS's that came out of the car so I don't have any reference point. The mounts/rails currently installed are among the thickest (highest base point off the floor) that I've had between all the seats I've used. With that said, I'm still able to fit my 6'2" long torso'd body in with a helmet. Seatbelt and seatbelt receptacle mounting points are very similar to Recaros. I even installed them myself - which probably holds more weight if you know me personally. Airbag light will need to be coded out, as with any aftermarket seat install. This is a manual slider, has a normal horizontal bar under the cushion that you pull up to reposition the seat. |

It's important to note that these seats are actually used in a lot of OEM applications. These are high end companies such as Alfa, Bentley, Bugatti, Bentley, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, Koenigsegg, etc.. The SPX is used as a base seat in which they slightly redesign and reupholster, or not (see Alfa quadraformaggio bucket option). These seats are tremendously good, and most of the time compliments come from non car people. My friend was upwards of 300 pounds (lost it since) and thought they were the most comfortable seats he'd ever been in. My car smelled like a Ferrari the morning after I installed them. They can be yours for nearly HALF OFF!
Oh no shipping, sorry |
