18/15 spacers with stock zcp wheels and tires
Was about to place an order for 15/12 spacer for my e92 m3 competition package with stock zcp wheels and tires but I'm having second thoughts and I'm considering 18/15. Does anyone has the same setup with 18/15, any rubbing, do the tire/wheel stick out past the fender, pics would be great.
I know tire size make a difference but what tires would I be safe with 18/15 spacers. I'm all stock and have no plans on lowering my car, might go a bit wider in the future but not sure about that yet. I spent a few hours last night searching but the pictures angles weren't that great so i can't tell if they past the fenders or if they do look good. Is there any other issue by going with wider spacers? Thanks. |

ZCP with 15/12 and 255/35/19F 275/35/19R have a bit of fender rub up front when turning sharply. The rears will also rub lightly when the car is heavily loaded and you hit a bump.
I would not use 18/15 without adjusting my tire sizes. Perhaps 245/30/19F and 265/30/19F would allow you to use the 18/15 combo. Due to the slight rubbing that I have, I will be going with 255/30/19F and 275/30/19R when I replace my tires. Cheers,

I had rub on my 219m 265/40/18 rears using the 15mm spacer, i suspect the 18 with the zcp sizes would be even worse.
shamless plug i'm selling the 12/15 combo in the classifieds |

So 18MM in the back with 19 inch wheels will probably rub. |

I am running Michelin PS4S. The rubbing is very minor on the fender liners in the front. The rear rubbing is very abnormal - I only get it if I load the car up with 4 people and hit a large dip/bump. If I set the EDC to stiff, it does not rub in the rear. Cheers,

You can see just a little rub on the fender liner.

Had spacers on previous motor, E60 550i. Looked cool but felt like a crab, in a bad way. Every 2nd M3 have spacers and think it looks the business, but haven't got around doing it cause fear the crab.
You guys running with spacers, you feel much that the geometry is changed? |

I was able to get away with wider spacers with Conti DWS's. When I switched to Michelin PS A/S, they rubbed like heck. Spacer size also depends on the tire.

When I was on stock zcp suspension: 15mm front, 12.5mm rear ecs tuning spacers. stock tire size (245 35 19 / 265 35 19 Michelin ps4s). That 18/15 setup might poke/rub on front fender liner

I have 18mm front, 12mm rear. I think its perfect. No rubbing. Stock tire sizes. Lowered on KW H.A.S. sleeve kit. To me, it looks better than 15mm in front.

18F/15R, 245/35 & 265/35, lowered on H&R Race with very little rubbing in the rear. I doubt you'll have any issues at stock height.

I think my car became a little more planted in hard cornering but it's purely anecdotal on my part. |
