The blue thing is a park tool bike stand.
That code reader is legit, it's the NT510 from Amazon with the BMW functions. It can read and reset pretty much all of the BMW specific control modules, code batteries, moniter sensors etc. Seems like the best mid-range BMW scan tool. I'll use water wetter for sure. That's pretty much a requirement when you run "pure" distilled water setups.

Ended up draining the radiator once and refilled with water and water wetter, wasn't able to do multiple purges. So I at least got a higher water concentration.
Did another track day yesterday in serious heat for the Northwest, air temperature was 96F or so. Car was getting hot really quick in the heat of the day - was climbing near the 300 degree mark for oil temperature after about 4 laps, at which point I would do a cool down lap. Maybe I should have just kept pushing to see if I was actually running into the errors still. I also noticed the shifting slow down on the DCT in the last session, again no errors, but there was a delay in shifting of about a half second. Generally speaking it seems like these cars struggle keeping cool. Maybe a vented hood would help a bit. I'll likely do another water only purge of the radiator.

Did a little work on the car this weekend, should be ready to start into some track days now.
- Changed the engine oil. - Finally installed the new coolant temperature sensor along with the revised connector that I had bought last year. - I've had a check engine light for the past month for a secondary air sensor voltage error. Replaced the whole hose and sensor. Seems to be good now, fingers crossed. Still need to: - Bleed the brakes. - Install some power for the AIM Solo 2. - I have the Do88 DCT cooler, but I'm procrastinating that install for sure.

Selling the car, looking for $45K as it sits ready to do track stuff and still drive to work.

Great summary
Excellent summary with all your Mods.
Looking forwards to using your examples for my car. I have 60K miles and will need to look at suspension and control are bushings. I already have the Afe CAI, Dinan Exhaust, etc. Dave

Just some follow up here, after I fixed the temperature sensor and connector I didn't have cooling "issues" at any point last track season. I still have the Do88 stuff sitting in my garage uninstalled. Might get around to that at some point. Car is still for sale, I've had lots of online tire kicking, and a few of the right type of buyers, but still have it. Interest is picking up in the past month. For those interested I've had it listed on local craigslist, Faceboook marketplace, Racing Junk and Winding Road. So far Racing Junk has been the best in getting results. Winding Road only gave me 1 or 2 leads, where Racing Junk has been in the double digits. Marketplace was a couple, and Craigslist was a couple.
