Higher oil temp than Normal

Noticed the M's oil temp has been running a little higher than normal. Ran the OBD and got:
P316B/ Engine Coolant Temp Signal Stuck
P0116/ Engine Coolant temp Circuit Range/ Performance
P0128 / Coolant t-stat regulating temp

It has around 87k miles. Already know it's time to Replace the T-stat, and might as well do the water pump, just looking for some thoughts on what else I should look at before throwing money at the issue.

Do you have a leak?
Is the overflow bone dry?

the t-stat and t-stat sensor is cheap.
The water pump isn't cheap but it is what it is but u don't have to really change it till it gives out.

No leaks. Don't notice any residue on the ground or anything. I took it to the dealership to have the oil change, and fluid check. So, all is good in that regard. It's a little weird to be replacing these parts again seeing that I did it back in Jan of 21', but I think the shop I went to didn't replace them with OEM parts.

hard to speculate what the dealership did unless you watched them or know what they put in.

the t-stat and the sensor are pretty easy DIY if you want to know if it was done or done properly.

Already have the parts on order for the T-stat and Sensor b/c that's what the OBD2 is saying so we'll see how it goes once that's done.

on the way up to Stockton from Monterey it was fluctuating between 240-270.. Now it was a littler warmer outside around 90 degrees. But I don't want to take any chances, especially since I was getting codes.

The CEL light is always on b/c I run ITB's (velocity stacks) an Alpha N tune & no plenum. HOWEVER, I usually only have the increased emissions code P0068 MAP/MAF sensor because the IAT Sensor is not plugged into the Plenum anymore. still haven't figured out a way to remedy that one..

But when I scanned this time, I got all the other codes referencing the T-STAT.
I confirmed its bad, so I am in the process of replacing it along with the sensor. Not messing with the housing or the pump.

NT510 and 530 are popular. Im not sure if all of foxwell scanners will work for BMW specific codes, but there are a lot of them that will.
