2011 Dyno Day - BMW Car Club of BC

Our Car Club hosted the annual Dyno Day over the past weekend, so I registered my car for a couple of pulls. Took some pictures and a video while I was there, so here they are....

Camera used was a Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM. The video was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S2.

Always a huge fan of the BMW Performance Style 269 wheels!

S54B32-powered ESS VT1-445 supercharged Z4M Roadster. $7k CDN kit and SELF-INSTALLED, it traded blows with my S65B40 and ended up on top with a couple more horses and 20ft.lb. more torque, all happening at slightly lower RPMs.

400k+ km E36 M3, and still a yearly winner at the Concours.

My car.

Fully-built all-motor E28 M5 that put down north of 330whp. On a light body shell like that, I'm fairly certain it has more than enough juice to embarrass young punks rocking stock E46 M3s, and even give the V8 M3s and M5s a run for their money from the dig.

The undisputed dyno king of the day, a turbocharged fully-built E36 M3 that put down ~470whp ~570ft.lb., after the owner and his buddy sat in the trunk. Before they did that, each run resulted in a loud SCREEECH, due to WHEELSPIN on the dyno roller.

Human Ballast.

Yet Another Estoril Blue E36 M3 Coupe (YAEBE36M3C). We have 3 in the club, all active participants, and all are rocking the prized BMW Motorsport LTW wheels, so it was hard to tell them apart

Cool ..... that e28 looks almost like my first BMW (we still have her after all them years).
